Verizon service can be very spotty all the way around the lake and even on 113. Quality can range from no service through maybe 3 of 5 bars. It is possible that crowding makes the connections worse.
US Cellular might have better coverage around the park.
Special Considerations
Parking frequently fills up at the north and south shore lots by late morning or early afternoon in popular months. There are seasonal concessions and equipment rentals available.
